A reason to celebrate

The community played an important role in restoring the water source. The Community Vision Committee mobilised residents to clear and fence the borehole site. Six community members also secured land tenancy agreements. As one resident explains: "Today we celebrate not only clean water but also what we can achieve when we work together."
Through the HOPE Project, funded by Pharus, ZOA combines access to clean water with support for livelihoods and land rights. By bringing these activities together, ZOA works with communities towards sustainable solutions.
