ZOA's Annual Report
In our Annual Report 2025 we present the impact of our work on the lives of almost 2.1 million people. While global attention wavered and government funding decreased, the needs of displaced and vulnerable people only grew in 2025. In places like Sudan, DR Congo and South Sudan, entire communities were uprooted by conflict. In many of these crises, ZOA was able to contribute to tangible, positive change.

2025: impact in a challenging year
The year 2025 was unprecedented for everyone. But even in challenging circumstances, ZOA was able to say: we are here. We are grateful for the work that we could do to support almost 2.1 million people affected by violent conflicts and natural disasters.
One of them is Daw Aye Aye Khine, a single mother from Myanmar. After a devastating 7.7-magnitude earthquake damaged her home and disrupted access to safe drinking water, she and her children were forced to drink from the river. Through ZOA’s emergency response, she received a portable water filter, enabling her to reopen her shop. “This filter is priceless,” she says.
