Organizations condemn two attacks
Hodeidah, 6 August 2018
Together with 16 other humanitarian and human rights organisations, ZOA undersigned a document in which the major attacks that hit a fish market and the entrance to Yemen’s largest hospital on the 2nd of August are strongly condemned. 40 civilians were killed during these attacks, including children.
This group of humanitarian an human rights organizations urges world leaders including the UN Security Council to condemn the attack in the strongest possible terms, and call for an urgent investigation to ensure that those responsible for any violations against international humanitarian law, especially attacks against civilian targets and medical infrastructure, are held accountable.
