ZOA's Annual Report

In our Annual Report 2022 we present the impact of our work on the lives of more than 2.3 million people. Looking back, 2022 has been a challenging year. The war in Ukraine affected many people in Ukraine. However, many vulnerable people around the world also suffered as the price of oil and gas soared and the export of grain stagnated. Yet, ZOA kept going - by working from relief to recovery.

2022: impact in a challenging year

The year 2022 was unprecedented for everyone. But even in challenging circumstances, ZOA was able to say: we are here. We are grateful for the work that we could do to support more than 2.3 million people affected by violent conflicts and natural disasters.

We are grateful for the generous support from our constituency, for instance during the emergency relief campaign for Ukraine. This enabled us to provide immediate assistence when the war broke out. We were able to complete our programme in Liberia, where ZOA had been working for almost two decades. Other conflicts perpetuated and left many people in desperate need for help in countries like DR Congo, Yemen and Sudan. It is our desire to stay faithful to these people who have been suffering for years. This would not have been possible without the support of our donors and our loyal constituency.
